Spinner Dolphins: Aerial Maneuvers |

 Dr. Frank Fish, biology, and Dr. Anthony Nicastro, physics, published the article “Dynamics of aerial maneuvers of spinner dolphins” in the Journal of Experimental Biology 209: 590-598 (2006). The article was co-authored with Dr. Daniel Weihs of Technion, Israel. Dr. Fish also presented invited seminars “Enhanced swimming performance by flow control in marine mammals” to the Biology Department of the University of Rhode Island and “Biomechanics of running” at the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School at New Bolton Center.
