 Frank Fish, Biology, presented an invited seminar, “Hydrodynamic flow control in whales and dolphins,” to the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Nuclear Engineering of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on October 18 and to the Center for Biologically Inspired Design at the Georgia Institute of Technology on October 30. Professor Fish co-authored the published article “Morphological specializations of baleen whales associated with hydrodynamic performance and ecological niche” in the Journal of Morphology, 267: 1284-1294 (2006). The article was co-authored with Drs. Becky Woodward and Jeremy Winn of the University of Maine.
